Lorena Vázquez Iglesias

Lorena Vázquez Iglesias obtained her Ph. D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Virology from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. She was involved in different translational projects with Biotechnological companies and Hospitals related with the validation of different techniques for the detection of biomarkers and antigens. As a postdoctoral researcher in the group, her current interest focuses on the search for applications of plasmonic nanoparticles for quantitative detection of different biomarkers and viral and bacterial antigens.
